Amy and Rory are in-laws to two of the biggest hell-raisers in the universe. But they're up to the task.
Lightning crackled, and River appeared in the kitchen with a pop.
"Amy! Hide this!" River tossed something to her, then disappeared.
Amy looked down to find herself holding the sonic screwdriver. At a loss to what was going on, she looked around frantically, then ran and shoved it into the back of the cutlery drawer.
No sooner had she shut the drawer than the Tardis appeared with a whoop and the Doctor leaned out, scowling.
"Where is it?" he demanded.
Amy briskly dried her dry hands on the kitchen towel she'd plucked from its hangar. "Where's what?" she asked innocently.
He glared at her. "Your daughter is a pain in my Time Lord tail!"
"What's going on?" Rory said as he stalked into the kitchen. "I thought I heard River and the Tardis."
The Doctor glared at Amy again then leaned back and slammed the door. The Tardis dematerialized with an annoyed sounding whoop.
Rory stared between the fading shade of the Tardis and Amy. "What was all that about?"
Amy grinned at him. "Spat. Wanna sandwich?"

"Doctor."
The ghost spoke softly from the spacesuit's communicator as the timelord looked on. He stared at the empty shell now slumped in the silver chair, what had once been that brilliant, mysterious woman. She had known his name and she had saved his life. She had known his name and it was whispering now out of the data trapped in the suit's neural relay. All he could do was watch, handcuffed to one of the computer's metal supports, neither able to reach his sonic screwdriver nor the modified one that had belonged to Professor River Song.
Her voice continued to trickle into the room, though her lips did not move; eyelids closed in endles

A/n: The reader is not paired with Rory, merely a friendship with the Ponds. Story set sometime within 'The Power of Three', when the Doctor wasn't there and was away travelling.
Sitting in A&E, you sighed as you slouched back, staring intently at your haphazardly bandaged arm. You'd had a little 'accident' slicing bread, and the bread knife had slipped in a rather unsightly manner up your arm, leaving a jagged wound which had just started to stop bleeding.
Well, you had waited a while to be called forwards, and there'd certainly been enough time for it to stop threatening to leek through the bandage.

"Rose!" Tony jumped up and down in the snow, mitten-clad hands reaching up towards the top of the undecorated snowman. Frowning, he turned towards his sister and pointed at the carrot in his hand. "Please Rosie!"
Giggling and reluctantly tearing her gaze away from the Doctor she sat up in the middle of her snow angel, brushing the snow out of her hair. "What is it, Tony?"
Jumping again he pointed at the featureless face of the snowman. "I can't reach! Please help me!"
"Alright, come here." Grinning she took the few steps across to the four year old and picked him up. Cautiously he reached out and pushed the carrot

time lord tail? since when do time lords have tails? but other than that it's a really funny story ^^
